Registered Nurse – Burrowa House Aged Care Facility
Burrowa Hostel Incorporated is seeking a permanent part-time Registered Nurse for two days per week (negotiable) to work in our twenty-bed facility. The facility is expanded 20 beds in 2021 and it is anticipated this position will involve more hours in the near future.
Duties required to be performed but not limited to include:
- Conduct entry interviews with residents and their families and formulate care plans
- Evaluate current resident care plans
- Liaise with doctors and allied health professionals
- Undertake competencies
- Review PRN medications
- Wound Care
- Review ACFI assessments of residents
Essential qualifications required:
- Registered Nurse Registration
- Current valid Police record check (specific to Aged Care)
Highly Desirable Skills required include:
- A passion for Aged Care and resident welfare
- A team player
- Proficient time management abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Computer literate
