Burrowa Retirement Village
Burrowa Retirement Village consists of duplex units with a one-bedroom or two-bedroom villa. Each duplex contains two villas. Each year, our retirement community grows as more locals are realising they can have affordable accommodations with all the perks of independent living. Eventually, all of these units will be combined with leisure facilities.

Burrowa Cottages
Country living is finally possible here at Burrowa Cottages! Boorowa Hostel Incorporated’s (BHI) philosophy is to always provide housing that our aging and disabled community members can afford. With that goal in mind, we operate Burrowa Cottages, one bedroom, basic low-cost retirement housing for the needy in the community. The Cottages opened in 1996 with the help of NSW Community Housing. Currently, these public housing units are managed by BHI on behalf of NSW Housing.
Burrowa House
- Burrowa House are a twenty-bed aged care facility that have been serving local aging residents since 1992. At Boorowa Hostel Incorporated (BHI), we aim to take care of the aging residents of Boorowa, NSW. The income for Burrowa House comes from the following sources:
- Interest income from accommodation bonds which are invested in Bendigo Bank term deposits.
- Income from Medicare subsidies.
- Daily fees paid by residents.
- Donations & fundraising.
